Second national sepaktakraw workshop conclude

The Second National Sepaktakraw Workshop was successfully organized at the University of Lahore under the auspices of the Punjab Sepaktakraw Association, in collaboration with the Pakistan Sepaktakraw Federation and the University’s Sports and Culture Department.
More than 150 male and female players participated enthusiastically, with the aim of further promoting Sepaktakraw across Punjab.
Secretary General of the Pakistan Sepaktakraw Federation, Noushad Ahmed Khan, briefed players on official rules, while international athletes Muhammad Khalid and Deedar Rani conducted practical training sessions.
Distinguished guests included University of Lahore Director and Punjab Sepaktakraw Association Chairperson Farzana Rauf, Deputy Director Planning Punjab Sports Board Muhammad Tariq Khanzada, and the Association’s President.
Addressing participants, Tariq Khanzada praised the successful organization of the workshop, thanked Noushad Ahmed
Khan for his support, and congratulated Secretary Aamir Latif and his team for excellent arrangements.
He also announced plans to hold a Punjab Sepaktakraw Championship soon.Pakistan’s first female cricket umpire, Dr. Humaira Farah, highlighted the sport’s growing popularity and encouraged players to actively participate. Other speakers included Muhammad Javed, Muhammad Mubashir, Madam Shagufta, Aftab Ahmed Khan Niazi, and Urooj Naz.
At the closing ceremony, certificates were distributed among players and shields presented to guests. Sindh Sepaktakraw Association Chairman Dr.Muhammad Arif Hafeez and President Shabbir Ahmed
congratulated the organizers. In his concluding remarks,Punjab Sepaktakraw Association Secretary Aamir Latif expressed gratitude to all participants and supporters.
