President lauds Wafaqi Mohtasib’s efforts in redressing public grievances

President Asif Ali Zardari has praised the Wafaqi Mohtasib’s performance, saying the institution is providing a valuable service to the people.
According to a statement issued here stated that Wafaqi Mohtasib Naveed Kamran Baloch called on the President at Aiwan-e-Sadr and presented the institution’s Annual Report for 2025. The statement said that Wafaqi Mohtasib briefed Mr Zardari on the Mohtasib’s performance, highlighting that a record 261,101 complaints were addressed in 2025, up from 223,198 in 2024, with an implementation rate of 96.8%.
The Wafaqi Mohtasib also informed the President about the expansion of its presence to 28 cities and the establishment of One Window Facilitation Desks for Overseas Pakistanis at international airports,it added. He noted that nearly 88% of complaints were disposed of within the statutory 60-day period.
The President emphasized the need to publicize the institution’s activities, particularly its efforts for speedy redressal of public complaints, so that more people could benefit from its services.
