PML-N desperate to save illegitimate rule: Barrister Saif

Peshawar
Advisor to Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Information and Public Relations Barrister Dr. Saif has expressed deep concern over the current political situation in the country, stating that PML-N is making every possible effort to save its illegitimate rule.
“Firing bullets at peaceful protesters is an act of rebellion against democracy,” Barrister Saif said. He further stated that PML-N operatives have left no stone unturned in turning a peaceful protest violent, but the oppression will be held accountable. He emphasized that the illegitimate rule of Maryam Nawaz and Shehbaz Sharif is in its final days, and the public will no longer tolerate this tyranny.
He noted that the call of the PTI founder has been answered by people from across the country and is a clear indication that PML-N government is nearing its end. Barrister Saif also condemned the federal and Punjab governments for using state machinery to indiscriminately fire at unarmed protesters and bombard them with tear gas, proving that this government is not a representative of the people but is merely extending its rule to continue looting the national economy.
He strongly condemned the placement of spikes on the motorway near Swabi and accused PML-N of being afraid of peaceful protesters.
“The public has risen to hold accountable those rulers who have stolen their mandate, and PML-N is using violence and state oppression to suppress peaceful protests,” Barrister Saif added. He also alleged that PML-N planned to cause casualties during the protests, and there is clear evidence of armed PML-N workers infiltrating the demonstrations.
Barrister Saif condemned the digging of motorways and the misuse of state power, accusing the federal government of deliberately trying to turn peaceful protests violent. He declared that the public’s response to oppression will be fierce and that those responsible will be held accountable. He further questioned the federal government’s fear and advised them not to use institutions for their dirty politics. “Politics should remain confined to political institutions, and it is now inevitable to get rid the country from the Sharif family,” he said. Barrister Saif labeled the Sharif family as an internationally proven corrupt political family and asked, “What sin is the nation being punished for by being subjected to this corrupt family?”
Responding to Mohsin Naqvi’s statement, Barrister Saif called it a lie and said that the claim of the police being peaceful is entirely false. He added that the entire nation is witnessing how peaceful citizens are being subjected to state oppression, with excessive use of tear gas and rubber bullets. On the arrest of the PTI founder’s sister, Aleema Khan, Barrister Saif criticized PML-N for using dirty tactics against women. He called the arrests of female workers a foolish move and accused the federal government of crossing all limits to protect its rule. He declared that the downfall of PML-N rule is inevitable and that the nation will not provide Maryam Nawaz and Shehbaz Sharif with any place to hide.
