Peshawar Region wins Inter-Regional Colleges Cricket Tournament

The PCB Inter-Regional Colleges Cricket Tournament organized by the Directorate of Sports Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was won by Peshawar Region. Malakand Region was defeated by 120 runs in the final.
The final of the Inter-Regional Colleges Cricket Tournament held at Hayatabad Sports Complex, Peshawar was played between Peshawar Region and Malakand Region. Batting first, Peshawar Region scored 181 runs in the allotted 20 overs, with Haroon 52 and Kamran scoring 40 runs.
In reply, the entire Malakand Region team was bowled out for 61 runs. Arshad Iqbal scored 26 runs. Kamran dismissed three and two players from Peshawar.
On this occasion, Deputy Director of Operations Jamshed Baloch distributed prizes among the winning players.
Regional Sports Officer Peshawar Kashif Farhan, Regional Sports Officer Tariq Khan and other important personalities were present.
In the first phase of the Inter-Regional Colleges Cricket Tournament, the tournament was held at the regional level, while teams from all seven regions participated in the final round.
