Pakistan taking steps against presence of Khawarij in Afghanistan: DG ISPR

Director General ISPR Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry has said Pakistan has taken effective steps against presence of Khawarij in Afghanistan. Director General ISPR Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry visited Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology in Topi, Swabi.
He was speaking at an interactive session with students at Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology in Topi, Swabi.
The recent Pak-Afghan border clash, security situation and role of social media were discussed during the session. The Director General ISPR said Pakistan Army will stand steadfast against aggression of every enemy in future as well. He said the youth are guarantors of bright future of the nation and they have critical role in progress and prosperity of the country.
The students and teachers paid rich tribute to the martyrs and veterans of Pakistan Armed Forces.
They said the nation values the role of Pakistan Army in peace and national development.
The students were of the view that such meaningful sessions should be held in future as well so that disinformation and propaganda could be countered effectively.
DG ISPR gave replies to questions from students in details which allayed the ambiguities in the minds of the students.
