Pakistan supports dialogue, diplomacy for resolution of conflicts: Ishaq Dar

ISLAMABAD
Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) and Foreign Minister (FM) Ishaq Dar has said growing conflicts in the world are threat to global peace.
“ In May Indo-Pak war could prove disastrous. We are supporters of dialogue and diplomacy for resolution of conflicts., he said this while addressing a seminar in Islamabad Wednesday.
He held climate change is a big challenge. Global economic scenario is changing. South Asia is facing poverty, illiteracy and other challenges.
He underlined the challenges of climate change and food shortage are becoming grave. Rise in temperature and floods are leaving disastrous impact on economy. Security scenario in South Asia is also complex. Pakistan supports dialogue and diplomacy for resolution of conflicts.
He said India announced to suspend Indus Basin Treaty unilaterally in May. Israel massacred humanity in Gaza and Palestine. Non resolution of Kashmir issue has posed threat to regional peace.
South Asia is the region of the largest population. The countries of South Asia will have to think seriously for addressing their problems. Regional connectivity is important for common prosperity.
