Pakistan requests US administration to give counselor access to Asif Merchant: FO

Pakistan has said we are desirous of fortification of our ties with US.
The relations between the two countries are old standing. Arrival of Trump will make no difference in bilateral relations and instead ties will grow stronger. India should provide medical facilities to Yasin Malik forthwith. We want international community plays its role for immediate end to Israeli aggression. Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif will leave for Saudi Arabia to participate in Riyadh summit on November 11, this was said by Foreign Office (FO) spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch in weekly press briefing here Thursday.
She stated foreign minister of Iran visited Pakistan and held meetings with Pakistan leadership. On this occasion PM Shehbaz Sharif termed Israeli attack on Iran blatant violation of country’s sovereignty.
Pakistan strongly condemns Israeli aggression in Gaza, she held.
We support two state solution to Palestine issue.
International community should play its role to stop Israeli aggression, she added. Investigation into genocide by Israel in Gaza should be conducted under war crimes laws.
Expressing grave concern over Indian atrocities in Occupied Kashmir, she said the deteriorating health of Hurriayat Leader Yasin Malik is highly alarming. He is on hunger strike. Indian authorities should provide him medical facilities forthwith.
FO Spokesperson said PM Shehbaz Sharif will visit Saudi Arabia on November 11. He will participate in Riyadh summit. Palestine issue will also come under discussion in the summit. PM will meet global leaders on this occasion.
PM will visit Baku, Azerbaijan on November 13. He will participate in summit with reference to climate change in Baku. During participation in summit PM will meet other global leaders on sideline.
Terming the attack on Chinese citizens regrettable , the spokesperson said talks are underway on the matter of security of Chinese citizens. PM and interior minister have visited Chinese embassy in this regard.
