Pak breaks the myth of India’s military superiority: Dr Shahid

Modi government will face downfall amid a political crisis: Business leader

Islamabad
Business leader and former President of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI), Dr. Shahid Rasheed Butt, said on Sunday that Pakistan has effectively dismantled India’s perceived military superiority through a robust retaliatory response to aggression.
He said that within hours, India’s war arrogance, demonstrated by its aggressive military posturing, was buried, and Prime Minister Modi was forced to surrender, an event being celebrated across the Muslim world.
Shahid Rasheed Butt praised the Pakistani armed forces for exposing the true face of Modi’s extremist government, calling their success a matter of national pride.
According to Butt, the Indian public is now raising serious questions about their government, military, and media. At the same time, Pakistan’s defensive capabilities, demonstrated by its swift and effective response to Indian aggression, and determination, as seen in its resilience during the recent tensions, have been validated beyond doubt.
The business leader urged caution, warning that a defeated enemy could go to any extent to boost the demoralised spirits of its people and armed forces.
Addressing traders and industrialists, Shahid Rasheed Butt claimed that India’s multibillion-dollar defence systems, including its Rafale fighter jets and S-400 missile systems, collapsed in the face of Pakistan’s falcons.
He said that Pakistan holds a clear moral and military advantage in the current Indo-Pak tensions, and its strategic prowess, as demonstrated by its successful neutralization of these advanced systems, has astonished the world.
“The extremist leadership in India has been thoroughly dealt with,” he added, noting that global powers intervened just in time to impose a ceasefire and prevent India from facing further devastation.
However, he stressed the importance of maintaining readiness and vigilance, emphasising that trusting a cunning adversary would be suicidal.
Butt further stated that Narendra Modi, with support from Israel and other powers, attempted to test Pakistan’s resolve, to which Pakistan responded decisively by destroying airbases, storage sites, airfields, supply depots, brigade headquarters, and other military installations.
Pakistan has responded positively to the ceasefire initiative as a responsible state, urging the international community to pressure India to pursue peaceful negotiations to resolve all outstanding issues.
Despite multiple ceasefire violations by India in various regions, Pakistan’s armed forces continue to exhibit restraint and responsibility, hallmarks of a civilised and accountable state, he added.
Shahid Rasheed Butt concluded that the Modi government is now facing a severe political crisis, and winning the upcoming elections or even remaining in politics has become increasingly complex for them.
