Murad Ali Shah sworn in as Sindh CM

Syed Murad Ali Shah of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has been sworn in as Sindh Chief Minister for the third time. The oath-taking ceremony, held at the Governor House in Karachi, was administered by Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori. Notable attendees included Caretaker Sindh Chief Minister Justice (R) Maqbool Baqar, PPP leaders, and various officials, along with diplomats and consul generals from different countries. A day earlier, Murad secured 112 votes compared to MQM-P’s Ali Khurshidi’s 36 during a session of Sindh Assembly.
A total of 148 votes were cast during polling.
