ISLAMABAD
Foreign Office (FO) has said the matter of establishment of airbase by US in Bagram is social media rumors.
“However it is matter between governments of Afghanistan and US, this was said by FO spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan in his weekly press briefing here Thursday.
He held Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif is on two days visit of Belarus at the invitation of President Aleksandr Lukashenko.
Several agreements are likely to be signed during visit to further fortify bilateral relations.
We have seen reports regarding suspension of tariff by US and suspension of visas of 14 countries by Saudi Arabia. We are in contact with the respective governments in this regard, he remarked.

He stated Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a telephone call with the Advisor for Foreign Affairs of the Peoples Republic of Bangladesh, Md. Touhid Hossain. The two leaders exchanged Eid greetings, discussed areas of mutual interest, and reiterated their commitment for future engagements and cooperation.
He also held a telephone conversation with Foreign Minister of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, HH Prince Faisal Bin Farhan Al-Saud. The two leaders discussed issues of mutual interest and reaffirmed commitment to strengthen existing fraternal ties between the two brotherly countries.
He said Pakistan in the strongest possible terms condemns the continued aggression and atrocities committed by Israeli occupying forces in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, particularly in Gaza.
