Local traders establish desk in Bara Bazaar to assist displaced traders

Aimed to get alternative businesses for them, Anjuman-e-Tajeran (traders union), Bara Bazaar set up a desk to assist and guide the evacuated traders of Tirah Valley who left their business centers and homes in the recent evacuation operation.
According to the union officials more than five thousand families including local shoppers and traders from Tirah Maidan have suffered in the recent dislocation process.
Therefore a need was felt to establish a desk to provide free help to the internally displaced traders to resume their trade activities downtown in Bara Bazaar, they added.
President traders union, Bara Said Ayaz Wazir said that with the assistance and coordination of local administration and Tehsil Municipal Authority, Bara officials, cleanness of the unrented shops and markets in Bara Bazaar had been initiated to supply favorable condition to the displaced shopkeepers of Tirah to resume their trade.
With consent of the property owners, the dislocated traders would settle in the shops free of rent for six months and after it, they would get it on concision in rent ,he added.
He maintained that six to eight evacuated traders had been adjusted in Bara Bazaar and they restarted businesses.
We strive hard to enable the displaced traders to earn their livelihood for themselves with honor and dignity, Wazir said.
It is to be mentioned here that more than 4000 traders of local bazaar in Tirah Valley including Lar Bazaar, Bar Bazaar, Pir Mela, Navey Bagh, Dars Jumat etc. have been displaced
On the other hand the tribesmen of Shalober, Sepah and Bar-Qamber affirmed that they would instantly get to reside the displaced families in their hujras (male guest houses) in absence of substitute accommodations for them.
It is to be stated here that so far more than five thousands internally evacuated families have been registered at the Paindi Cheena registration center.
