Kundi visits Khyber Eye Foundation Hospital, reviews facilities

Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Karim Kundi, visited the Khyber Eye Foundation Hospital here on Monday and reviewed the facilities in the operation theaters, wards, and the treatments provided for eye diseases.
Chairman of Khyber Eye Foundation, Adnan Jalil, briefed the Governor Faisal Karim Kundi on the objectives and medical services of the hospital.
The briefing revealed that since its inception, the hospital has treated nearly one million patients. Additionally, around 32,000 free pairs of glasses have been distributed, and approximately 7,000 surgeries have been performed.
Governor Faisal Karim Kundi commended the Khyber Eye Foundation for its commendable work in providing free treatment for eye diseases to the underprivileged. He extended his congratulations to the hospital’s administration and medical staff for their efforts.
He emphasized that institutions providing free medical care to marginalized communities hold a special place in his heart and assured the Khyber Eye Foundation of his full support.
Governor Kundi praised the organization’s well-organized team and network as evidence of its success and expressed his willingness to contribute in any way he could to support the institution.
He also assured that the federal government and international charitable organizations would provide the necessary facilities for the hospital.
