Kundi stresses youth to promote tolerance in society

PESHAWAR
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor, Faisal Karim Kundi here Sunday said that youth were the future of Pakistan and stressed on them to promote the culture of tolerance, harmony and respect for humanity in the society besides acquiring education.
Addressing a representative delegation of Peoples Students Federation of Khyber Pakthunkhwa led by Pakistan People Party Provincial President Muhammad Ali Shah Bacha here at Governor House, the Governor said that all out support and measures would be taken regarding progress and development of youth and women folk of the province.
The Governor talked about people welfare especially of devolopment of youth and different matters about their socioeconomic empowerment.
The other delegation members and workers included General Secretary Shazi Khan, provincial office beaers of People Students Federation Rashid Khan and Riaz Khan.
A birthday anniversary cake of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto was also cut during the function.
The Governor said that stretagy was being prepared for making youth economically self-sufficent and asked students to bring suggestions to make the youth economically stronger in line of the vision of Quaid e Awam Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto.
Focal persons of PSF would be made that would make contact with us, adding PPP has allways provided opportunities to youth and women of Pakistan to move forward on path of economic prosperity.
The Governor stressed on youth of PSF to play positive role in progress and development of the province besides solution of people problems.
Meanwhile, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor, Faisal Karim Kundi here Sunday said that health was an important sector in the province and its development on modern line was imperative to provide better facilities to ailing people.
He was addressing a representative delegation of Peoples Doctors Forum that called on him here at Governor House.
Matters pertaining to improvement in health sector in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and treatment facilities came under discussion.
The delegation informed the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor about problems and difficulties faced by doctors and medical staff in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi said that provision of best healthcare facilities was one of the top most basic responsibilities of the government.
He underscored the need for reforms in existing health system in hospitals of the province. The Governor said that MTI system in heath treatment process was not proved impressive in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
KP Governor underlined the need for enforcement of Sindh province health model system in the entire country.
Faisal Karim Kundi said that visible change in health sector could be witnessed by establishing hospitals in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on the pattern of Sindh province.
He asked the medical experts to prepare paper work and suggestions for establishment of Medical Commission.
During the meeting, the delegation led by Dr Janbaz thanked the Governor’s suggestions and cooperation for improvement of health sector in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
