Karachi Blues cricket team players to be awarded Rs2.5m by winning Quaid-e-Azam Trophy: Nadeem Omar

Karachi players have brought joy to the people of their city by winning the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy. Karachi players deserve congratulations and I congratulate the team players and support staff who have proved that there is no shortage of talent in Karachi by winning the trophy of the country’s biggest tournament thanks to their brilliant play.
Nadeem Omar, President Regional Cricket Association Karachi, expressed these views in a meeting with the players of Karachi Blues, who won the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy. He praised the performance of head coach Iqbal Imam and said that in two and a half years under his coaching, Karachi teams have won the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy twice, which is a unique achievement. He said that soon the CB Regional Cricket Association Karachi Academy consisting of under-17 players will be set up at the Naya AzimAbad ground.
In the academy, PCB coaches will address the shortcomings of the players. On this occasion, he announced a prize of Rs 2.5 million for the team. He announced and said that a grand ceremony in honor of the Karachi Blues players will be held soon at a local hotel. On this occasion, Iqbal Imam, head coach, said that along with the players, I had the full support of Nadeem Omar Bhai, due to which we were able to win the trophy and many young players have emerged from the tournament, including Saad Baig, Haroon Arshad, Saqib Khan, Muhammad Umar, Abdullah Fazal, who will come and make the name of their country and city shine.
Speaking at the ceremony, Syed Muhammad Ahmed Naqvi, team manager, said that thanks be to Allah Almighty that the Karachi team won this tournament, which is a testament to the hard work of the players and team support staff.
He said that for the first time in the history of Karachi, a president like Nadeem Omar Sahib has come who respects the players and coaches in every way. In addition to Rs. 25 lakh, Nadeem Omar Sahib gave a cash prize of Rs. 25,000 to the players who performed in every match. Hassan Omar, Azam Khan, Faizan Najeeb and others were also present on the occasion.
