Independence Day Table Tennis Championship concluded

The Independence Day Table Tennis Championship organized on the occasion of Pakistan’s Independence Day at Qayyum Sports Complex Peshawar has ended, in which male and female players of different categories participated. Organized by Absar Welfare Foundation in collaboration with Directorate General Sports and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Tagball Association, players participated in five categories of men’s singles, mature male singles, mature girls’ singles, wheelchair males, and wheelchair females in the Azadi Table Tennis Championship.
In men’s singles, Owais Jamshed beat Mudassar Khan with three points; in amateur men’s singles, Daniyal Khalil beat Afnan with three points; in amateur girls’ singles, Gulalai beat Adina Hamim with three points; and in the wheelchair male category, Salman Khan beat Mubeen Rafiq with three points. In women’s wheelchair, Tajmina Bibi defeated Gulnaz Khan by 3 nil. 50 players participated in the championship.
On this occasion, Senior Vice President of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Table Tennis Association Kifayatullah Khan distributed prizes among the players along with coaches Bushra and Absar Ali, and other personalities were also present.
