IHC directs EC to decide PTI parliamentarians petition on reserved seats soon

Islamabad High Court (IHC) while directing Election Commission (EC) to decide soon PTI Parliamentarians petition on allotment of reserved seats has wrapped up petition.
The petition filed by Malik Habib Noor Orakzai against EC decision came up for hearing before single bench of IHC led by Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb Thursday.
IHC said “you should wait now. We call the EC just now.
Justice Miangul Hassan remarked if EC walas donot come then we will decide it.
The counsel for petitioner took the plea the order for reserved seats was issued on March 4. Only one reserved seat was given to us in KP.
The court inquired why the petitioner is not party. It is not in powers of general secretary.
The counsel for the petitioner said party has given application through general secretary.
The court inquired how many members of provincial assembly of your party have .
The counsel for the petitioner told the court there are two MPAs which are ours. The notification of both the MPAs have been attached. According to March 3 notification only one seat was given while we have two seats.
Counsel for the petitioner took the plea EC said there is stay order on one seat therefore, one reserved seat was given. While stay has been ended.
The court while summoning EC authorities announced interval.
On resumption of hearing after interval the counsel for EC appeared in the court.
The court directed to decide PTI parliamentarians petition soon and wrapped up the petition.
