IG (NHMP) participated in live e-kacheri broadcasted on FM95

The National Highways and Motorway Police (NHMP) regularly organize monthly live e-Kacheri Inspector General (IG) Riffat Mukhtar Raja, participating for the first time since assuming charge, engaged with commuters via live calls on FM95 Radio and through live streaming of official Facebook page.
He addressed commuters’ concerns through live calls, directing officers to resolve issues promptly and extended New Year greetings, emphasizing to start the New Year with prayers and positive intentions.
IG highlighted the NHMP’s commitment to providing timely assistance and ensuring safe travel, stressing zero tolerance for compromising commuter’s safety. He stated that leading the NHMP is as an honor for me. He emphasized that serving humanity for Allah’s pleasure is the essence of worship. During the e-Kacheri, IG appreciated the suggestions from listeners and takes them as fruit for thought for the betterment.
He credited effective policing and officers’ efforts for reducing accidents and urged the public to follow traffic rules. The IG emphasized strict implementation of axle load control, advising transporters against overloading vehicles, and outlined steps to modernize road safety education.
He also addressed internal matters, including employee welfare, departmental promotions, and manpower shortages. IG Riffat Mukhtar reaffirmed NHMP’s mission to serve the public and enhance road safety, utilizing all available resources to achieve these objectives.
