In his bail plea in 8 cases related to May 9 including Jinnah House attack case in Lahore High Court (LHC) , PTI founder Imran Khan has taken plea he was in custody of NAB on May 9. 2023 in Islamabad and he has been nominated in the case by leveling allegation of conspiracy for political victimization.
8 cases related to May 9 incident including Jinnah House case came up for hearing in LHC Monday.
A two members bench of LHC comprising Justice Syed Shahbaz Ali Rizvi and justice Tariq Salim Sheikh heard the petition.
Advocate Suleman Safdar appeared on behalf of Imran Khan in the court taking the plea his arguments have been completed on last date.
The state counsel said record of all these cases of May 9 is available in Supreme Court (SC).
Barrister Suleman Safdar argued there are petitions for dismissal of bail pleas in SC. While in LHC, some bail pleas in 8 cases have gone to LHC.
The petition filed by PTI founder said he was in the custody of NAB in Islamabad. He has been nominated in the cases by leveling the allegation of conspiracy for political victimization. The petitioner prayed the court through the petition his bail be accepted in 8 cases and order for his release be issued.
The court adjourned till April 17 hearing of bail pleas.
Anti Terrorism Court had dismissed bail pleas of PTI founder on November 27.
