Governor rule, emergency imposed under compulsion: PM

Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif has said KP is province of valiant people and we had to impose governor rule and emergency under compulsion. “Peace had fully prevailed in the province in 2018 . Following the establishment of peace terrorists were again called during PTI era. People had to suffer heavily for it.
All the provinces agreed on providing resources to KP against terrorism. Rs 800 billion were provided to KP against terrorism under NFC award after 2010. It is matter of sorrow that terrorism has emerged more instead of coming to end.
People of KP are suffering from deprivations. I promise federal government in collaboration with military leadership will address the problems facing people of KP. We will bring back the era of delights, peace and development in KP, he said this while presiding over Apex Committee meeting in Peshawar on Thursday.
He held every day new stories of corruption emerged in KP. Corruption of Rs 100 billion was committed in clean drinking water project in KP. Corruption of Rs 37 billion came to open in Kohistan Mega scandal.
I am very grieved over death of a lady teacher and children after the roof of a school caved in in Peshawar. I had asked governor Peshawar to visit the affected site and conduct investigation. This province is adversely affected due to the situation created in few years. The situation created in 6 years caused harm to law and order situation.
Our brave army and security agencies had eradicated terrorism in all over Pakistan including KP by rendering the sacrifice of lives. Complete peace was established in the province till 2018
He held over 80000 people were martyred in war on terror and loss of billion dollars was caused to country.
Several political families of KP rendered unprecedented sacrifices in war against terrorism. Peace was established in the country due to great sacrifices.
Following the establishment of peace, terrorists were again called during PTI rule.
No recruitment was made against 5000 vacant posts in police department during previous government time. Safe city project is still incomplete in KP. No focus was placed on training in anti terrorism department and police.
Federal government had assured PTI chief ministers that we stand with them in war on terror.
We constituted political committee. It worked hard in talks for 48 hours. Since how long we would have tolerated blood shed in KP.
I made consultation with the president again over highly adverse situation in KP. We had to make stern decisions in KP due to these reasons.
