foodpanda announces social and welfare initiatives for Ramadan 2026

Karachi
Online delivery platform foodpanda has launched several special initiatives during Ramadan, focusing on the physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of its delivery partners.
Under the daily “Iftar Dastarkhwan” program, more than 2,000 riders across the country are being provided with nutritious meals every evening at the time of iftar. Along with this initiative, a nationwide night cricket tournament is also underway, in which 350 riders from different areas of Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad are participating.
In preparation for the last ten days of Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr, foodpanda is introducing some of its most significant rewards. The company will sponsor Umrah packages for 10 outstanding riders, ensuring regional representation, with special consideration for riders from Faisalabad and Multan.
At the end of Ramadan, 1,000 valuable Eid gift boxes will also be distributed among the best-performing riders in both large and small cities. In addition, corporate employees will personally deliver more than 5,000 boxes of sweets to riders across the country as a gesture of appreciation for their services.
On this occasion, Muntaka Peracha, CEO of foodpanda Pakistan, said:
“Ramadan is a month of reflection and collective harmony. The 2026 roadmap reflects that the company values the human side of business and aims to take practical steps to improve the lives of people in Pakistan.”
Apart from these internal activities, foodpanda is also collaborating with various welfare organizations to assist in the distribution of ration bags to deserving individuals.
