Defence day hockey series begins: KHA boys defeat women

A series of hockey matches were organized under the auspices of Karachi Hockey Association Women’s Wing on the occasion of Pakistan’s Defence Day. In the first match of the series held at the Olympian Hanif Khan and Dr. Junaid Ali Shah Hockey Ground, KHA Women’s Whites team played brilliantly and defeated JJ Sports Academy 0-3. Maryam, Mah Noor and Nida Anjum scored one goal each for the winning team.
The second match of the series was played between KHA Women’s Whites and KHA Boys U-15. After an exciting and thrilling match, KHA Boys U-15 defeated KHA Women’s Whites 2-3.
Ishaq scored two goals while Musa scored one goal for the winning team. Sundas and Mah Noor scored one goal each for KHA Women’s Whites.
On this occasion, KHA Women’s Wing President Ms. Asma Ali Shah encouraged the players and said that all the players are performing well. She expressed her best wishes to both the teams and wished the Women’s Whites and Women’s Colors teams success in the final match.
The third match of the series will be played between the KHA Women’s Whites and KHA Women’s Colors teams.
