Customs seizes smuggled goods worth Rs240m

In a major anti-smuggling operation, Customs Enforcement Quetta successfully seized smuggled goods worth Rs 240 million during multiple raids in and around the city. The seized goods include skimmed milk powder, auto spare parts, flavored pan masala, power banks, and a Hino truck, said a news release here on Tuesday.
Acting on credible intelligence, the operation was carried out under the direction of the Collector of Customs Enforcement, Quetta. Teams from the Collectorate, with the support of other law enforcement agencies (LEAs), conducted coordinated raids on various godowns, leading to the recovery of the smuggled consignments and vehicles. The enforcement action forms part of the Collectorate’s intensified drive to curb smuggling, dismantle illegal trade networks, and protect the national economy. All seized goods and vehicles have been taken into custody, and legal proceedings under the Customs Act, 1969 have been formally initiated.

Amir Muqam also prayed for the elevation of the ranks of the martyrs and for patience and strength for their families, reiterating that Pakistan remains committed to establish lasting peace and honoring every sacrifice made for the country.
