Court extends interim bail of PTI founder in six cases

ISLAMABAD
District Court Islamabad has extended interim bail of former Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan in 6 cases and Bushra Bibi in one case.
Bushra Bibi has been granted exemption from attendance as well.
Additional District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Afzal Majoka took up for hearing 6 bail before arrest pleas of Imran Khan and one bail before arrest plea of Bushra Bibi Monday.
The court extended the interim bail till December 7.
The exemption plea of Bushra Bibi from attendance for one day from court was accepted while Imran Khan was not presented through video links despite court’s orders.
Investigation officer sought time for verification of Toshakhana receipts.
Judge Afzal Majoka said there is hearing of bail plea of PTI founder. His attendance remains there.
Defence Counsel Khalid Yousuf said jail authorities are making pretences in online attendance. You please announce decision on bail plea of Bushra Bibi.
Judge remarked I ask for attendance of Imran Khan till 10 a.m. If it is done then I will announce the decision today.
Imran Khan was not presented despite court’s orders.
PTI founder and Bushra Bibi had resorted to the court for bail before arrest.
