‘Constitution Package’ only to suppress PTI leadership, says Barrister Saif

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government spokesperson Barrister Saif has strongly criticized the recent constitutional amendment proposed by the federal government, stating it is an attempt to suppress PTI and its leadership.
He asserted that protests will continue until the release of all political prisoners.
Barrister Saif condemned the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), accusing it of abandoning Bhutto’s democratic ideals by aligning with the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
“The blind rulers are causing harm to the country, and the people of Pakistan are protesting against the unjust imprisonment of their leader,” he said, adding that these actions could not hinder the people’s will.
He further alleged that the current government is undermining the independence of the judiciary and putting immense pressure on Parliament to pass constitutional amendments. Barrister Saif called upon the legal fraternity to step forward and play their role in defending the judiciary and democratic principles.
