Chief of Army Staff Gen Syed Asim Munir and Important Government officials Visited Various Projects under the Green Pakistan Initiative Friday.
Other federal and provincial ministers and officials from agriculture sector too visited the Green Pakistan Initiative along with army chief and Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Maryam Nawaz.
Chief Minister Punjab inaugurated , GPI’S Smart AGRI Farm, Green AGRI Mall and real Facilitation Centers during visit.
The participants were told during the briefing that opportunities will become available to farming community to acquire machinery on easy rent instead of purchasing expensive machinery.
The participants were informed that 250 green AGRI MALL have been prepared in Punjab to set up modern irrigation system.
Army chief and CM Punjab expressed complete satisfaction over performance of GPI for development of agriculture sector.
