Climate change through literary lense conference held at Uni of Chitral

The students of Edwardes College Peshawar presented various research proposals on intersection between literature and environmental issues, demonstrating unique approaches to understanding climate change through a literary lens.
The “ National Conference on Literature, Culture, and Climate was held at the University of Chitral.
The students, Nofal Usman, Hamza, Hasnain Maaz, Shabab Khan, and Marwan Maaz, who are pursuing their B.S. degrees in English, contributed significantly to the sessions.
The conference brought together respected academic institutions and notable guests from across the country.
Khushal Khan Khattak University, Karak, University of Chitral, CECOS University, Peshawar, Edwardes College Peshawar, and University of Peshawar students participated in in the conference.
The event featured prominent figures like Prof. Dr. Najeeba Arif, Chairperson of the Pakistan Academy of Letters, and Prof. Dr. Muhammad Naseer Ud Din, Vice Chancellor of Khushal Khan Khattak University, Karak.
Speakers highlighted the conference’s theme and its relevance in today’s world, adding considerable value to the discussions.
Dr. Syed Hanif Rasool Kakakhel and Yasir Ali Khan Sarmad were acknowledged for their exceptional efforts in organizing the conference. Dr. Kakakhel, the principal organizer and an Assistant Professor at Khushal Khan Khattak University, Karak, along with Yasir Ali Khan Sarmad, the Secretary of NCLCC-24, an Edwardian and lecturer in English, ECP, demonstrated great dedication and planning.
The participants as a teamwork ensured a smooth and impactful event that advanced the dialogue on literature, culture, and climate change.
