Bitcoin rises to $70,467

ISLAMABAD: The cryptocurrency market inched up on Thursday, with the market capitalization gaining 0.1 percent to reach $2.78 trillion. As of 1225 hours GMT, the price of Bitcoin, the world’s oldest and most valued cryptocurrency, surged to $70,467 with an increase of 0.3 percent in the last 24 hours. The market capitalization of the biggest crypto has reached $1.386 trillion with this increase. Bitcoin has been 5 percent up in the past seven days. Throughout March, Bitcoin has shown a pattern of reaching new highs followed by healthy corrections, although the reason for the recent rally is uncertain. TLTP
The next resistance level for Bitcoin is at $73,882, with the previous support level far behind at $65,234.
However, Ether (ETH), the world’s second-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, shed 0.2 percent to reach $3,575. With this decrease in price, the market capitalization of ETH has reached $429 billion. ETH has gained 1.2 percent of its value during the last seven days.
On the other hand, Binance Coin (BNB) price increased by 1.1 percent to reach $584.7. The market capitalization of BNB has reached $90 billion with this increase. BNB has gained 4.5 percent of its value during the last seven days.
However, Solana price decreased by 1.6 percent to reach $185. With this decrease in price, its market capitalization has reached $82 billion. SOL has shed 2.3 percent of its value during the last seven days.
Similarly, the price of Ripple (XRP) decreased by 0.4 percent to reach $0.62. The market capitalization of XRP stands at $34 billion with this decrease. XRP has gained 0.2 percent of its value during the last seven days.
Other popular altcoins including Dogecoin (DOGE) and Litecoin saw a mix of minor gains and dips across the board. The Mantle (MNT) token became the biggest gainer of the lot, with a 24-hour jump of over 26 percent. Lido DAO (LDO) became the biggest loser of the lot, with a 24-hour dip of over 11 percent.
