Bilawal Bhutto Zardari grieves over loss of life in KP

KHUDA BUX BROHI: Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), has expressed profound sorrow over the tragic loss of lives due to the recent torrential rains in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. These rains have not only caused significant loss of life but also extensive damage to property across several districts. Addressing the severe impacts in areas such as Mansehra, Kohat, Bajaur, Chitral Upper and Lower, Dir Upper, Swat, and Swabi, Bilawal highlighted the critical conditions and distress faced by the residents. He conveyed his deep grief over the devastating incident in Kohat, where 11 members of a single family perished, and extended heartfelt condolences to the affected families in Shabqadar and other regions. Bilawal urged the provincial government to undertake a thorough survey of the damages and ensure that financial aid is disbursed promptly and fairly. He stressed the need for proactive measures to prevent landslides and other monsoon-related accidents, alongside providing essential safety and facilities to the thousands of stranded tourists across the province.
He directed PPP workers in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to mobilize their support for the victims and reiterated the party’s solidarity with the people of the region. Bilawal committed to expediting relief efforts to ensure swift and effective assistance to those in need.
