PM stops finance ministry to bring mini budget immediately

ISLAMABAD
Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif has stopped finance ministry from bringing mini budget immediately.
The sources said if decision is taken to launch budget before time then the government will bring allied parties into confidence. The proposal is being considered to present next fiscal year budget in May instead of June. As per sources proposals have been presented to PM Shehbaz Sharif on bringing mini budget or launching budget in the month of May. Sources have claimed PM Shehbaz Sharif has however stopped ministry of finance from bringing any mini budget now.
PM has directed to take economic decisions after seeing the situation.
Sources said federal government has started considering to present budget for the fiscal 2026-27 in the month of May instead of June.
In this regard talks will be held with all stake holders and IMF.
According to sources PM Shehbaz Sharif has directed to include proposals in the budget to address the problems of people keeping in the perspective of Middle East situation.
PM has directed Finance ministry to hold talks with IMF.
According to sources, the government will take into confidence its allied parties on the matter of presenting budget before time.
