Media should refrain from speculation, await official announcements: FO spokesperson

ISLAMABAD
Foreign Office (FO) spokesperson has said that diplomacy and negotiations require discretion and confidentiality.
Many media outlets are carrying speculations/ rumours on ongoing conflict in ME/Persian Gulf with fake info about Pakistan.
He said this in a statement issued here Wednesday.
He held calls are coming seeking comment/confirmation on such so-called ‘developments’.
I respectfully reiterate my message of yesterday that diplomacy and negotiations require discretion and confidentiality, he added.
