Abdul Waheed Khan XI Clinched Ramadan Hockey League Title

The Fourth Ramadan Hockey League held at the Olympian Islahuddin and Dr. Muhammad Ali Shah Hockey Academy was won by Abdul Waheed Khan XI. In the final, they defeated Anwar Ahmed Khan XI by 3–1 in a penalty shoot-out to claim the title.The final proved to be exciting and thrilling, with both teams displaying excellent hockey.
In the 8th minute, Abdul Waheed Khan XI earned a penalty stroke after a dangerous move. Center forward Nauman Khan converted it to give his team a 1–0 lead.
However, in the 14th minute, Siddiq Khan of Anwar Ahmed Khan XI scored on a penalty corner, leveling the match 1–1.
For the winning team, Usman Ashraf scored from a penalty corner in the 22nd minute, restoring the lead and making it 2–1. But in the 24th minute, Siddiq Khan once again found the net for Anwar Ahmed Khan XI, bringing the score to 2–2.The match remained 2–2 until the end of regular play.
In the penalty shoot-out, Irfan Khan, Rizwan Khan, and Nauman Khan scored for Abdul Waheed Khan XI, while the only goal for the losing team was scored by Asim Khan. After the match, the President of Karachi Hockey Association and Member of National Assembly, Khawaja Izhar-ul-Hassan, distributed prizes among the players.
