DIG visits families of Lakki Marwat victims

LAKKI MARWAT: Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Bannu Region Sajjad Khan visited Lakki Marwat and met the families of the citizens who were martyred in a recent blast. Accompanied by District Police Officer (DPO) Naziz Khan, the DIG offered Fateha with the bereaved families and expressed condolences. Special prayers were also offered for the elevation of the martyrs’ ranks and the speedy recovery of those injured in the incident. Speaking on the occasion, Sajjad Khan said that the police stand with the families of the martyrs and the affected citizens in this difficult time and would not leave them alone. He said terrorists were involved in cowardly acts and were targeting innocent civilians by choosing soft targets. “The terrorists will be eliminated at all costs,” he added. It may be recalled that a blast carried out by terrorists in Lakki Marwat a few days ago left two people martyred and eight others injured. Crime Reporter
