Israel-India defence pact a grave threat to peace: FO

ISLAMABAD
Foreign Office (FO) has said defence pact between Israel and India is grave threat to peace in the region.
“Keeping in view the difficulties of Afghan people Pakistan is sending aid on the request of UN. Receiving the aid depends on Taliban authorities., this was said by FO spokesperson Tahir Andrabi during weekly press briefing here Thursday. He said Pakistan strongly condemns the recent controversial statement by Indian defence minister. Terrorism is continuing against Pakistan under sponsorship of India.
Responding to a question about illegal detention of Kashmiris , he said about 2800 Kashmiris are detained illegally in Indian jails as per latest report of UN. It is blatant violation of human rights.
A high level delegation of Pakistan will visit Turkmenistan soon. Its details will be issued at opportune time.
He said India is halting SAARC process persistently. This is not for the first time that India has subjected this forum of regional cooperation to political designs. He held no formal extradition treaty exists between UK and Pakistan. However both the countries see such matters on case to case basis.
Indian contacts with terrorists in Afghanistan territory are not hidden to any one. Therefore, likely access of terrorists to dangerous arms through India cannot be ignored.
