Secretary Workers Welfare Fund holds important meeting with Balochistan Minister for Agriculture & Cooperatives
Consensus Reached on Practical Measures for the Welfare of Industrial Workers in Balochistan

Secretary Workers Welfare Fund (WWF) Mr. Zulfiqar Ahmed held a significant meeting with Balochistan’s Minister for Agriculture & Cooperatives, Mr. Mir Ali Hassan Zehri, at the Workers Welfare Fund Secretariat, Islamabad on Thursday.
The meeting focused on the welfare of industrial workers in Balochistan, provision of improved facilities, and progress on key development initiatives.
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held regarding the provision of quality education for the children of industrial workers, upgradation of schools, housing facilities for workers, and other welfare-related matters. Secretary WWF assured that all issues concerning industrial workers in Balochistan will be resolved in accordance with the law and in line with the directives of the Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis & Human Resource Development, Chaudhry Salik Hussain. He further emphasized that a comprehensive plan will be devised to address the shortage of housing facilities for industrial workers in the province.
Secretary Workers Welfare Board Balochistan, Mr. Abdul Sattar Bugti, was also present during the meeting.
It is worth mentioning that Minister Mir Ali Hassan Zehri had earlier held a meeting with Federal Minister Chaudhry Salik Hussain on the same subject, and the meeting with the Secretary WWF was a continuation of those discussions.
Both sides expressed their firm commitment to taking effective and sustainable measures for the betterment of industrial workers and their families in Balochistan, ensuring that they receive the facilities and support they rightfully deserve.
Earlier, Secretary WWF Zulfiqar Ahmed welcomed Minister Mir Ali Hassan Zehri upon his arrival at the Secretariat and presented him with a bouquet.
