Agri-Business and Linkage Building Festival Promotes Rural Entrepreneurship in Tharparkar

The Agri-Business and Linkage Building Festival 2025 was organized in Tharparkar by Sadabahar Social Enterprise in collaboration with the International Trade Centre (ITC) under the GRASP Project, to promote agricultural entrepreneurship and strengthen market linkages in the region.
Assistant Commissioner Nagarparkar Erum Kareem Narejo inaugurated the festival and visited stalls featuring agricultural products, livestock items, seeds, handicrafts, traditional foods, and locally made goods.
Notables and social activists Shehnaz Kapadia, Karim Dino Dall, Noor Muhammad Dall, Saleem Samijo, Dr. Bashir, Riaz Ahmed Rajar, Mushtaq Umrani, Ameer Bux Abasi, Kashif Siddiqui, Dr. Wasdev Chandani, Imtiaz Ahmed, Shabana, Imran Bughio, and Riaz Ahmed Shaikh were among the participants.
Representatives from various Social Enterprise Platforms (SEPs) across Sindh — including Muhammad Ishaq, Abdul Razaque Abrejo, Jahan Khan Laghari, and Abida Parveen — shared their initiatives and discussed ways to enhance collaboration between rural producers and markets.
Speaking on the occasion, the organizers said the festival aimed to empower local farmers and rural entrepreneurs by providing market exposure, networking opportunities, and technical guidance. They added that such initiatives are vital for promoting sustainable agriculture, improving livelihoods, and fostering innovation in Tharparkar’s agriculture and livestock sectors.
The festival concluded with a recognition ceremony honoring organizers, participants, and volunteers for their contributions.
