Swat district admin will not tolerate any form of encroachment: ADC-G

Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Swat, Muhibullah Khan, has said that the district administration will not tolerate any form of illegal encroachment, adding that all available resources are being utilized to ensure a clean, orderly, and safe environment for the public.
He expressed these views while presiding over a meeting attended by Additional Assistant Commissioner Babuzai Syed Imran Ali Shah, Assistant Commissioners of all tehsils (via video link), Assistant Commissioners (UT) Farda Ehsan and Rabia Afridi, Subedar Major Swat Levies, and representatives of the Irrigation Department, Pakhtunkhwa Highways Authority, Police Department, Tehsil Municipal Administrations, and other relevant departments.
The meeting reviewed in detail the ongoing anti-encroachment operations across the district, the challenges being faced, and the future course of action.
The ADC directed all concerned officials to devise a joint and coordinated strategy to curb illegal encroachments, ensure close inter-departmental cooperation, and take immediate action in the field to clear the district of all unlawful structures.
ADC Muhibullah Khan further said that, in line with the directives of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, all illegal encroachments will be removed from the district.
He urged those involved to voluntarily vacate encroached areas, warning that otherwise, the administration would remove them through official action.
