Nation will never compromise on country’s sovereignty: Salik

The Minister said the historic event of Marka-e-Haq marks a fresh chapter in the long saga that began in 1947 and continues to be written today. It serves as a powerful reminder that Pakistan’s survival and honour are not merely defined by borders, but by the continuity of a living ideology.
Chaudhry Salik Hussain recalled that a few months ago, Pakistan once again made history, when armed forces of the country, under the leadership of Field Marshal Asim Munir, thwarted Indian aggression.
He said it was not just a military triumph but a victory of the very ideology upon which Pakistan was founded.
The Minister also commended the Workers Welfare Fund for providing quality education, better healthcare, and development opportunities to labour class.
On the occasion, Minister of State for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development Mohammad Awn Saqlain appreciated efforts of the Workers Welfare Fund for the betterment of the industrial workers. Secretary WWF Zulfiqar Ahmad presented the welcome address.
Director General NUML Brigadier Shahzad Munir said the valiant armed forces are always ready to defend every inch and corner of the motherland. Students of the WWF sponsored educational institutions also presented patriotic songs and performances to mark the event.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, Chaudhry Salik Hussain distributed prizes and shields among the students. Federal Secretary for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development Nadeem Aslam Chaudhary and a large number of foreign and national diginatories also attended the seminar.
