Tour of Islamabad National Race, 6-member KP team selected in trials at Peshawar

Trials for the selection of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa team for the 6th Tour of Islamabad National Cycle Race organized by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Cycling Association were held yesterday.
The race for the trials was from Peshawar Ring Road to Cherat Hills, 49 kilometers, at 10 am, in which 32 cyclists from Peshawar, Mohmand, Swat and Mardan participated. In these trials, 6 players were selected who will represent Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the Tour of Islamabad National Cycle Race from December 6. The selected players include Umar Farooq, Sanaullah, Haroon Khan, Ahmed Zeb, Nabiullah and Khizer Hayat.
The selection committee included President KP Cycling Association Engineer Syed Shayan Ali Shah, General Secretary KP Cycling Association Muhammad Ali, Tahir Shah, Shafiullah and Nisar Ahmed. According to Chief Organizer Race Nisar Ahmed, the best players in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa team for the national competitions were selected through open trials. The selection has been made and it is hoped that the players will perform well in the national competitions.
