Rescue 1122, Khyber issues monthly performance report

District Emergency Officer(DEO),Eng.Shareq Riaz Khattak on Wednesday issued a monthly performance report for September,2024 and said that the Rescue1122 Khyber provided services during 418 emergencies and saved precious human life and their properties.
According to the performance report the Rescue 1122 Khyber received 14375 calls among which the majority of it were fake and non-emergency calls.
The DEO said that the Rescue 1122 Khyber timely responded to 399 emergencies.
During the last month rescue services were supplied in 34 road accidents,233 medical emergencies,04 fire incidents,12 firing/quarrels happens, 01 drowned and 20 other cases, he added.
As per the prescriptions of the doctors 114 patients were shifted (inside and outside of the district) to health centers under the supervision of trained crew members for necessary medical treatment, the report stated.
In the light of the directions of the Director General Dr Muhammad Ayaz Khan and supervision of the DEO,Khyber,awareness and training sessions were organized in schools,colleges,universities and other community centers to impart knowledge of fire safety and life saving techniques to the masses to decrease ratio of emergencies in the district, Rescue 1122 spokesperson informed.
