Traffic policemen awarded certificates, cash prizes

Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Saud Khan on Thursday awarded certificates of appreciation and cash to traffic police officials for showing excellence performance.
According to a statement here, the ceremony was organized by the City Traffic Police Peshawar at Traffic Headquarters Gulbahar.
During the ceremony, Chief Traffic Officer Saud Khan appreciated the performance of the traffic staff and said that the officers and personnel of City Traffic Police Peshawar performed their duties by following the policy of first salam then kalam and to ensure the implementation of traffic rules.
He further said that all the officers and officials should play their role with full effort to raise awareness about traffic flow and road safety among the citizens.
The pattern will continue, those who show better performance will be encouraged, while disciplinary action will be taken against those who are negligent.
CTO Saud Khan directed the traffic officials and officials to continue the uninterrupted operation against those who park vehicles in the nine parking zones in the city and encroachment mafia and no one should be lenient.
He said that departmental action will be taken against those who show negligence.
