CM-KP pays rich tribute to Kargil hero Karnal Sher Khan on Defence Day

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister, Ali Amin Gandapur, paid a heartfelt tribute to Captain Karnal Sher Khan Shaheed, a revered Kargil war hero, during a visit to his shrine on Pakistan Independence Day.
The CM-KP laid wreaths, recited Fatiha, and recorded his thoughts in a commemorative book.
On the occasion, Chief Minister Sardar Ali Amin Gandapur led a special prayer for the elevation of the rank of martyr Captain Colonel Sher Khan.
He was accompanied by former Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser, MNA Shahram Tarakai, and Provincial Ministers Aqibullah and Faisal Tarakai.
The Chief Minister paid tribute to the soldiers who have laid down their lives for the motherland, stating, “They are our real heroes.”
He emphasized the importance of honoring the sacrifices of these heroes and said that today is a day to pay homage to their sacrifices.
Chief Minister Gandapur praised the bravery of Captain Colonel Sher Khan, who sacrificed his life to protect the motherland.
He expressed pride in the martyrs and veterans of the Pakistan Army, stating, “Pakistan exists because of their sacrifices.
“We are breathing in the open air because of their sacrifices,” he added.
The Chief Minister also acknowledged the eternal sacrifices made by security forces in the war against terrorism.
