Former federal minister Fawad Chaudhry has said I want to proceed as per your will and my regrets be accepted. He said this during hearing of contempt of election commission case in Election Commission (EC) Tuesday. A 4-member bench of EC led by member Nisar Durrani heard the case.
Fawad Chaudhry said in his statement before EC I had filed written apology last time. The way you ignore Capt (Retd) Safdar and Javed Latif , ignore me too likewise. Consider me your own too.
Member commission said to Fawad Chaudhry then you say statement is party line. Give not the statement against the institutions in party line. You had said these are not your words. You say some one other be punished for your statement.
Fawad Chaudhry said I still say today too that I was spokesperson. .
Member commission said you were to file reply with us. File that reply then we see.
Faisal Chaudhry counsel for Fawad Chaudhry said our cases are in sessions court tomorrow. Please delist tomorrow’s cases.
Member commission said you should file exemption pleas from attendance in respect of tomorrow’s cases.
The EC adjourned hearing of contempt of EC case against Fawad Chaudhry till September 19.
