Pak Street Child football team narrowly misses 3rd place in Norway Cup

ISLAMABAD
The Pakistan Street Child football team put up a valiant effort but ultimately fell short in the third-place match against Norway’s Sutra Club on penalty kicks in the Norway Cup. According to details, the team was lost by 5-4, with the match tied 1-1.
Muhammad Junaid scored a crucial goal in the first half to level the match for Pakistan. Despite the loss, Pakistani player Muhammad Kashif was honoured as the top scorer in the Norway Cup.
The team’s performance was witnessed by Pakistani ambassador to Norway Saeed Altaf Qazi, who was present on the occasion to support the team.
Throughout the tournament, the national street child football team impressed with 27 goals in eight matches, remaining undefeated in the group stage, play-off stage and quarterfinals.
The team and management expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Pakistani community in Norway and the nation as a whole for their unwavering support.
