Bitcoin resumes rally, crosses $67,000 mark

ISLAMABAD: The cryptocurrency market bounced back on Thursday after the US Federal Reserve kept the key rates unchanged for the 5th straight meeting, with the market capitalization gaining 7 percent to reach $2.66 trillion. As of 1210 hours GMT, the price of Bitcoin, the world’s oldest and most valued cryptocurrency, jumped to $67,068 with an increase of 6 percent in the last 24 hours. The market capitalization of the biggest crypto has reached $1.318 trillion with this increase. Bitcoin has been 8.1 percent down in the past seven days. TLTP
Bitcoin (BTC) appears to have resumed its rally after a few days of slump.
Similarly, Ether (ETH), the world’s second-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, jumped by 7.7 percent to reach $3,531. With this increase in price, the market capitalization of ETH has reached $424.1 billion. ETH has shed 11 percent of its value during the last seven days.
Following suit, Binance Coin (BNB) price went up by 5 percent to reach $559. The market capitalization of BNB has reached $86 billion with this increase. BNB has shed 7.7 percent of its value during the last seven days.
On the other hand, Solana price jumped by 10 percent to reach $189. With this increase in price, its market capitalization has reached $83.9 billion. SOL has gained 9.2 percent of its value during the last seven days.
Similarly, the price of Ripple (XRP) increased by 3.9 percent to reach $0.618. The market capitalization of XRP stands at $34 billion with this increase. XRP has shed 10.1 percent of its value during the last seven days.
Other popular altcoins including Dogecoin (DOGE) and Litecoin (LTC) saw notable gains as well. The ONDO token became the biggest gainer of the lot, with a 24-hour jump of over 38 percent.
