40 cops promoted as head constable

PESHAWAR
In line with the vision of Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Zulfiqar Hameed to prioritize the promotion and welfare of police personnel, the Capital City Police Peshawar has completed the promotion process of 40 police officials to the rank of Head Constable.
After completion of the promotion circle and approval by the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC), the promoted personnel include Feroz Shah, Fazal Amin, Amjad Iqbal, Aamir Khan, Haji Muhammad, Omar Gul, Muhammad Adil, Farooq, Niaz Ali, Khalilullah, Nabib Ahmed, Sabir Ghani, Rafaqatullah, Imran Khan, Muhammad Shah, Adil Hussain, Irfanullah, Adalat Khan, Shah Nawaz, Irshad Khan, Abdul Samad Khan, Ziafatullah, Hanifullah, Ahmed Gul, Arsala Khan, Faheem Khan, Mursalin Khan, Izharullah, Fazal Muhammad, Naeemullah, Syed Mohtarma Shah, Moazzam Khan, Imad Ali, Rizwanullah, Javed Khan, Rashid Khan, Humayun Khalil, Ashfaq Ahmed, and Mashqatullah.
A special ceremony was held at Malik Saad Shaheed Police Lines, where Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Peshawar Dr. Mian Saeed Ahmed, along with SSP Operations Farhan Khan, presented promotion badges to the newly promoted officials.
Speaking on the occasion, the CCPO congratulated the promoted officers and stated that a special departmental committee has been constituted to ensure a transparent, merit-based, and speedy promotion process. He emphasized that promotions are being carried out strictly on merit.
Dr. Mian Saeed Ahmed further remarked that promotion brings greater responsibility, urging the promoted officials to enhance their professional skills and play an effective role in maintaining law and order, combating crime and social evils, and ensuring the rule of law.
The CCPO expressed hope that the promoted personnel would perform their duties with dedication and professionalism, bringing further honor to the police department.
