Toshakhana-2 reference filed against PTI founder, Bushra

NAB has filed another new Toshakhana reference against PTI founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi in the Accountability Court (AC).
NAB investigating officer Mohsin Haroon and case officer Waqar ul Hassan filed the reference Tuesday.
New reference comprises two volumes.
NAB had arrested PTI founder and Bushra Bibi on July 13. Both of them remained under NAB custody for 37 days in connection with investigation.
Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi were provided questionnaire during investigation. Both the accused filed replies to questionnaire with NAB,
The former Prime Minister and Bushra Begum were sent to jail on judicial remand on completion of investigation.
Registrar of AC will review the Toshakhana-2 reference filed by NAB.
The reference will be sent to administrative judge of AC after removing the objections.
Administrator judge will decide to hear the case himself or shift it to some other AC.
Nasir Javed Rana, Administrative judge AC is already hearing 190 million pounds reference against PTI founder and Bushra Bibi.
NAB had arrested Imran Khan his wife Bushra Bibi in a new reference of Toshakhana on July 13 soon after they were granted bail in Nikah during iddat case.
According to NAB inquiry report the new Toshakhan reference relates to possessing and selling 10 precious gifts including 7 watches against the rules.
Federal government had issued notification regarding jail trial of Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi in new Toshakhan reference.
Notification was issued under section 16-B of NAB ordinance 1999. It was told therein if AC deems it necessary in view of law and order situation it can conduct trial of Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi in jail.
