TDAP authorities meets SACM, discussed promotion of export

A two-member delegation of the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) called on the Special Assistant to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister for Industries, Commerce and Technical Education, Abdul Karim Tordher on Wednesday, and discussed the usage of local clusters for promotion of export with him.
The TDAP delegation consisted of the Director General (DG) Nauman Bashir and Deputy Director Zahid Mohammad. Chairman, All Pakistan Commercial Exporters Association (APCEA), Minhajuddin and Sartaj Ahmad Khan were also present on the occasion. The delegation discussed matters relating to the efforts of the authority for promotion of national exports.
Speaking on the occasion, the Special Assistant to the Chief Minister stressed upon the need for promotion of different clusters of the province for trade and export purposes wherein he said TDAP can play a crucial role. He also welcomed the role of the authority in linking various trading sectors of the province with foreign markets.
The authorities of TDAP especially informed the Special Assistant regarding the upcoming proposed exhibition in Chitral regarding various trading sectors wherein an investment conference will also be organized in which investors from all major cities of the country will participate. Furthermore, stalls regarding investment and trade sectors will also be erected during the exhibition.
The Special Assistant assured the participation of all subsidiary organizations of the Industries Department including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Economic Zones Development and Management Company (KP-EZDMC), KP Board of Investment and Trade (KP-BoIT) and other stakeholders in the event and extending of all possible cooperation in this regard
