Sports for Development Table Tennis Camp begins at Peshawar

Sports for Development (S4D) table tennis camp began at Peshawar in which top eight players of U-15 and U-18 categories being trained in connection with preparation for the forthcoming national junior table tennis championship to be held in last week of August.
The camp being conducted under the supervision of International Table Tennis Federation qualified coach Mian Absar Ali.
Directorate General Sports Chief Coach and Administrator Syed Jafar Shah formally inaugurated the camp and assured all kinds of support to the organizers. Syed Jafar Shah said that all facilities were available to players in Peshawar Sports Complex. Mian Absar Ali said that they had organized the camp as self help support, no one was there for supports.
He said that hundreds of balls and other equipment had been bought, “The camp will motivate the players and improve their skills, which will lead to good performance in the national championship” he said and hoped that CM`s Advisor for Sports Syed Fakhar Jahan will help the players in every way by encouraging these efforts.
