Randhawa praised Islamic Relief’s efforts for Pakistan’s development

Chairman CDA, Muhammad Ali Rindhawa, met with Country Director Islamic Relief, Asif Sherazi, at the CDA Headquarters on Tuesday. During the meeting, Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Rindhawa praised Islamic Relief’s efforts for Pakistan’s development and betterment of the people. Islamic Relief has been working in Pakistan since 1992 providing all out support.
Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Rindhawa said in order to address climate change, several measures have been taken, including massive Tree Plantation Drive and establishment of climate change fund. CDA is all set to work together with Islamic Relief to tackle these challenges.
During the meeting, Country Director Islamic Relief Asif Sherazi also discussed growing water needs in the city. Country Director Islamic Relief said that they will provide technical assistance to CDA to cater Islamabad’s growing water needs. He emphasized the need for strong partnerships to tackle climate change and make Islamabad a modern city.
He said that Islamic Relief is willing to work with CDA along with other development partners like the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, and others. Chairman CDA Muhammad Ali Rindhawa said that CDA will utilize experties of Islamic Relief for the development of Islamabad city.
