PTI postpones ‘Islamabad Jalsa’ to avoid chaos: Saif

PESHAWAR
The spokesperson of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif has announced that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)’s public meeting (Jalsa) will be held on September 8, as previously planned for today.
Barrister Saif clarified that the meeting was not cancelled, but merely postponed to avoid chaos in the country, and emphasized that PTI workers should continue preparations for the event scheduled to be held now on Sept 8.
The spokesperson of KP government also slammed the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) led government for allegedly attempting to suppress PTI’s constitutional and democratic right to hold a public gathering in the country.
He stated that the federal government’s efforts to remove PTI founder Imran Khan from the people’s hearts have failed.
Barrister Saif accused the Sharif family of trampling on the constitution and law, turning the country into a “republic of evil”.
